The position is suited for a student taking a Project Management/Scrum Master course or an internationally experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master looking to gain some Canadian leadership work experience. As the ideal candidate, you will lead other co-op students in other disciplines such as developers, QA engineers, big data analysts, and DevOps engineers.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Possess a good understanding of the Agile Scrum methodology.

Understands how to use the burn down chat to measure team velocity rate and prevent against Under & Over estimation problems.

Ability to manage a cross functional team of developers, designers, product owners, devOps, and big data engineers.

Ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral.
-
Ability to keep a team motivated and deliver a product within the planned budget, time, and quality.

Ability to think out of the box when resolving issues within the team.

Ability to use JIRA, Zendesk, Zoho or any other similar project management tool.

Ability to use a conference tool like Google Meet and Zoom

BONUS: Understanding of how to use Artificial Intelligence to improve Project Management efficiency

Good understanding of the technology behind Mobile Web Apps (iOS & Android)

Good understanding of testing process (i.e Testcases, Test Plan, Defect Management, Automation)

Good understanding of design process (i.e Wireframe, mocks, responsive designs, UX workflow)

Education and Experience Required

Co-op or internship program

Currently enrolled in a Diploma or BS in Project Management or equivalent engineering/business background

Internationally trained or experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master

Hours

Part time schedule

As an AI in Software Testing Instructor, you will play a crucial role in educating and training professionals in the field of software testing with a specific focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and related technologies. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative instruction to students, guiding them in understanding the principles, techniques, and best practices of testing AI-powered software applications.

Responsibilities

Curriculum Development: Design and develop a comprehensive curriculum for AI in software testing courses, ensuring alignment with industry standards, emerging trends, and the specific needs of the target audience.

Instruction Delivery: Conduct engaging and interactive classroom or virtual sessions to teach students the fundamental concepts of AI in software testing, including machine learning, natural language processing, data validation, model performance testing, and bias detection.

Practical Demonstrations: Provide hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises to help students apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios. Create lab assignments and projects to enhance their practical skills in testing AI systems.

​Course Materials: Prepare and maintain instructional materials, including slides, presentations, lab manuals, and reference materials, to support the learning objectives of the AI in software testing courses.

Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, exams, and projects. Provide timely and constructive feedback to support their learning and growth.

Industry Insights: Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in AI technology and software testing practices. Share industry insights, case studies, and real-world examples to enrich the learning experience for students.

Mentoring and Support: Provide guidance and support to students, offering individual assistance and clarifications to help them overcome challenges and succeed in their learning journey.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other instructors, subject matter experts, and industry professionals to continuously improve the curriculum and instructional approaches. Stay connected with the software testing community to foster professional growth and networking opportunities.

Professional Development: Continuously enhance your own knowledge and skills in AI, software testing, and instructional methodologies. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and industry practices through self-study, research, and participation in relevant conferences or workshops.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

Strong expertise in software testing methodologies and practices, with specific knowledge and experience in testing AI-powered applications.

Familiarity with AI technologies, such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and their application in software systems.

Prior experience in teaching, training, or instructional design, preferably in the field of software testing or AI-related subjects.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.

Proficiency in relevant software testing tools and programming languages is desirable.

Professional certifications in software testing or AI-related fields are a plus.
